If your character witnessed their character with their faced uncovered, it is reasonable of you to ask them if you recognize it. If they say no, then you can either immediately accept that and move on with your roleplay and see if anything else gives it away, or try to reach out to this person off game to have a discourse. We'd rather players not get into a // argument over whether they would recognize each other or not. I actually play a plastic surgeon roaming Livonia. It would be my OOC stance that its not badRP to state that you had facial surgery done; However if its within a matter of weeks it would be glaringly obvious that the person has recently had surgery. Players in the past have used burns, scar tissue, and other disfigurements to 'hide' who they are. As with most things, the specifics would need to be examined which would lead to it being considered case by case. If you feel that someone is unfairly denying you the ability to recognize them, you are welcome to open a report and we will call them in for their point of view and assess the situation.
