S1 Attempted Landmine Kill, BadRP, Combat Logging? and NVFL

Friendly/Enemy vehicles involved (if any): N/A, however he may have taken stuff from truck and cars.

Detailed description of the events: Running down from my pub to my storage warehouse to try and sort out my loot and swap my gun for another one, as well as a change of clothes as i had died roughly 2 hours before due to my WiFi turning off whilst running from zombies, i walk up to my warehouse and hear a ticking noise.. me being startled i opened the door to find a man sneaking around, i speak to the man and ask him what he was doing and then subtly inform my friends over comms that there was someone there by asking him questions, he say's he fell through the roof and i say he doesn't need to sneak around like that, the man runs off with little to no interaction, after stumbling back into the warehouse with the ticking still going on we spot a land mine AT THE FUCKING ENTRANCE, now given the suspect was sneaking around and then him running off borderline immediately, this was done with malicious intent, we then shoot the land mine and then immediately hunt down for the man which game to no avail, most likely logged.

May i also add we may think this was somebody stream sniping, however this may not be true, just a thought more than anything.

My Pov: Here over comms someone was at the base by the time i run from the place i was about 50 meters away the guy who placed the land mine had already ran away there was no rp if the man claims there was rp all it was place land mine and run. The height  the man fell from would take someone at full health down to flashing red or would kill them. This would defo not make any rp sense for the man to be able to get up and run away when you would defo break a leg or something like that.  12/10 RP not gunna lie after this we follow the man and what seems like he logged straight after the encounter we had with him. 

The man did not value his character life when purposely falling from this height to get inside the base. No reason for the man to be near a sky light window what has small holes only able to crawl through other than to purposely jump and fall from this distance to get inside the base.

The height the man would of fell from:

Higher than a double story building.

My POV. I was with Lucas when I heard Spiers subtlety tell us someone was lurking around the base over coms. Spiers then proceeded to let him out. About 10 secs later I arrived to hear a clicking sound. Spiers identified a landmine placed at the door, he then destroyed it. And than the hunt began for the man who I believed logged after

As clearly shown in the video, the man placed the land mine and sneaked away with malicious intent, me being oblivious to this and me being as nice as i am, i let him out and all he does is stare at be as he backs off not saying any more as shown in the video, he then proceeded to run towards the pub where we then lose him, presumably he logged off, the man from what i can gather after this happening and the frantic search, he stole a few items and left a tent on the floor (maybe grief?), however with inventory bugs and stuff not going back into tents properly ill let that slide.

I would like to drop this case, as the accused is new to the server and deserves a chance to learn from his mistakes, maybe inform him to run through one of the roleplay guides with staff in call or something, let him branch out and grasp roleplay, however he did plant a landmine with malicious intent, im willing to let that slip unless the staff team wishes to take it into their own hands to do something about it

Seeing as in your closing message you say that you are happy to close this report unless staff wanted to keep it open, I don't see why you would even want to pretend to delete your video evidence without knowing if we were going to honour your request.

not really sure what you are trying to accuse me of, if you read what i said i said i'd like to close it as the person is new to the server, and deserves to grasp the ropes of roleplay and get settled, i left the videos which is needed (sneaky boi 1 and 2) which show him placing the land mine inside my base and then sneaking away, second vid is us realizing it then destroying it and then chasing it, all you're loosing is the accused walking away and then me looting up in my own base.

Explanation:

@speirs, after catching @BurritoTits placing a land mine in your base you did the right thing and posted a report. While we understand that you wanted to close the report to help a new player, we find it very suspicious that this coincided with you deleting the video evidence of your own rulebreak. For that reason we believe you maliciously and intentionally decided to tamper with and remove evidence. There was a reason why we asked you to post the full video; in the full video you can be seen metagaming with people over discord. After further review, we have found you guilty of lying about this in this report by saying that: “deleted from my youtube the video was, as well from my hardrive to clear up space”. Later in DMs with @Conor you admit to “straightup deleting it”.
