Detailed description of the events: I came back to my groups base and since we were raided yesterday and no one has been on or back since the raid, when I logged in and went to the base the walls that cover our windows were destroyed. I checked with everyone in my group about the walls being torn down and one of my guys said that he thought that we did it but none of us did it this was an offline raid that while in the process they griefed the walls. Only one ally was in the area Johnny Yar

Hello, I recently spoke to @Skeeterbolt about the situation. I hope this sheds a bit of light on the situation.

I got up early after a wicked night at a gig, missing my craving for a bit of DayZRP action. Now I met yourself and Mikey. Due to the conflicts we have had in character and finding Mikey's base, I head there to collect all the shit that my character believes we deserve due to the:

• Newly formed alliance with Jimmy, Dan and co.
• The assassination attempt and person who was there on Kirby
• Mikey attempting to shoot us all and injuring one of our boys before he PK'd
• Mikey saying he was going to beat me until I died
• The fact a person whom worked for a gambino who have actively robbed people in the town of Sitnik
• The fact our enemy had a base (Mikey)
• The fact a person working for our enemy has a base stored with things to hold people up (Nathan)

We opened up the locks and then took ammunition and guns, barrels and clothing (that connects to the Moretti family) etc. 

In character the reason being of taking almost everything has been pointed above however Filomena believes it was Mikey's stash and since he is dead, he has no use for it. With how Nathan RP'd being scared shitless, it was assumed he possibly ran away until he had more people HOWEVER this was not a 'oh they're offline'. As well as this, if he returned with Gambino's whom he stated he worked for; we don't want them supplied to rob our civilians.

We literally thought someone who wasn't us threw a smoke grenade so we were on high alert. 

I think the reason being of the planks was, I explained to Umbra boys and Jimmy that Mikey is dead and that he won't need his supplies anymore. In my belief, I think Jimmy tared down the planks as he knows the person who lived there is 6ft under. The planks were put in the cars, not left to despawn. However I did not participate (as logs will show) in taring down the walls.

As for that we did everything to leave in the barrels of what we didn't want nor need as we deemed it useless. From the top of my head I took:

• Moretti's uniform clothing (suit jacket, pants, hat and shoes)
• Ammunition
• Food
• Guns
• Hammers / hacksaws
• Gun cleaning kit (like 2 of them)
• Magazines
• Barrels (that we had emptied and put in the other barrels)
• Storage container (which we put the stuff we didn't want in the barrels near it)

Logs will show I hacked off two code locks and Jimmy took the planks from the walls.

Please take into consideration, the fences that had the codelocks hacksawed off were left with planks and were not touched by Jimmy nor the rest of the people I was with. Which you can see on the very corner right side of the screenshot.

We are struggling on finding the proper logs as you do not give us enough detail to go off of. I need you to answer the following questions.

You were raided by Mademoiselle that same day correct? You were online but not in the area when it happened. In fact you seem to have been taken hostage around the same time as Mademoiselle was raiding you. Can you give us a time frame from this? Was it before or after Mademoiselle raided you? Did you come back after being taken hostage to it having no walls? Did you have walls then log out after finding you were raided, then log back in and find the walls destroyed? We need a list of ALL allies you have that might have been in the area as well so we can rule them out.

These all need to be answered before we can continue this report.

Yes, earlier that day Mademoiselle and some other An Pobal came our base, raided it and held us hostage. 

The instance in which I was taken hostage by Mademoiselle was earlier than when the alleged griefing happened, approximatley 8 hours before. I had logged out after the hostage situation due to work.

She was present for both raids.

No, I logged out in the base after the hostage situation and came back online after an IC Discord message was put out at 03:55 server time by Johnny Yar @Yarz about the walls partially missing and the locks cut.

As far as I know, only Johnny Yar @Yarz witnessed the walls as well.

After the hostage situation, the first time they raided us, the walls and locks were in-tact because we let them in. Most of the walls had stacks of planks in them and they didn't take a majority of them. When the alleged griefing was disovered, all the loose planks and nails were missing as well as both locks cut and the four walls lining the windows were half stripped. I see no reason for these to be stripped since they already had access to the base through the gates

False. Two seperate days. Thursday evening then Saturday morning. It wasn't really the same day.

I streamed 3 days ago which is when we took Dew aka Nathan and Heckic aka Mikey. 

The paused screen in the spoiler shows the compound. The highlighted area of the title of the twitch clip shows it was 3 days ago. I raided two separate occasions.

As Mikey states in my VOD if you wish for me to clip, he became a mercenary and was not affiliated with Moretti (the mob) any longer. Mikey in the past took me and Callahan to this area when we were IC friends saying he used this area as his personal stash. Therefore, ICly nor OOCly did I know this was actually the mobsters stash. 

I stated this above in my first post my reasoning of why I re-raided the area.

Ben Hansen POV: 

Me and @Icaruu woke up after a night out at Sitnik missing all of our gear. I woke up around Sobotka and made my way north to Brena. At the gas station there I met Quinn. He was surrounded by 3 men I did not know. I walked up and tried to defuse the situation. Basically we stood in a circle and asked if each other were 503, not really believing anything the other side said. It was at this point @Mademoiselle pulled up. She knew us, and she knew them, she told both sides that we were good and things calmed. She noticed we had lost our gear partying with her friends and Sitnik and asked us if we would like to come with her to some where she knew we could get some new stuff. We told her of course. She drove us down to the base in question, told us that it has belonged to Mikey and wasn't being used anymore. The locks were cut and we went inside and looked around. It was at this point ben found a barrel full of Multivitamins. Ben is addicted to multivitamins so he was stunned. I spent the rest of the time there reorganizing my own inventory in order to fit as many bottles as I could on me. I am not aware of what happened as far as the building.

I woke up got in contact with the boss aka @TegsBenedict I hoped in a car with some people and I posted security. The base looked abandoned from what I seen however I was not able to see much as I was staring into the beautiful green forest waiting for a chance to defend my comrades.

Much like @TegsBenedict said already, we woke up in Sobotka and made our way to Brena. From there we met 3 individuals we did not know and proceeded to have a lengthy conversation. @Mademoiselle pulled up shortly after to authenticate our identities to the individuals from which we all loosened our susipcious and proceeded to have a more friendly chat. We were told there's a potential stash we could get some stuff out of due to us having close to no equipment. As previously mentioned in this thread, we got there, the locks were cut, I looted some of the barrels, mainly for ammunition and equipment to make a Ghilie hood, then proceeded to wait outside with @TegsBenedict and @chief_mello whilst the others continued to do stuff. We just ran around outside the base goofing around as we were waiting. Then drove off afterwards. We weren't aware of any actions of the others involved while we were waiting as we didn't re-enter the building.

Myself Dann Selmo and Jimmy met 2 guys before @Mademoiselle turned up in a car. Had some good RP, and was told of a base that needed raiding.

 

we drove there, locks were cut and we proceeded to take ONLY what we needed. Nothing was left on the floor to despawn. I took a locker.

 

no idea what ‘packed barrel’ means, but it might show us moving loot from storage containers as to not leave anything on the floor.

 

@Mademoiselle actually says at one point to make sure nothing is left on the ground (unsure if this is captured anywhere). A few of us double check nothing left to despawn.

Basically as @timjelly stated above.  Met some fellas in Brena, had a superb bout of RP where my character revealed a dark insight into his life as a youngsterrr! travelled with the mentioned above and we went to only take what we needed.    I also second on what @Mademoiselle said about not leaving anything on the floor so that it wouldn't despawn.  Was actually said more than once if my old, battered brain remembers.  Personally,  I don't think this is a worthy report really as it's a mere base raid....happens all the time!  I've just worked a 10 hour shift so not really going to say much more on the matter. Hope this helps shed some light

Me (jimmy) Dan and Tim meet @Mademoiselle and head to this base to rob it, i was up for this as we needed supply's to start a build hence the taking down of the walls (needed the nails and wood) this was definitely not griefing as nothing was done out of spite and followed the rp story. We left nothing on the ground and only took what we needed. If you check the logs you will see not long after the raid I was building walls with the supplies gained from the raid.

Griefing - @Mr Anon - While we understand that you believe you had a valid IC reason to dismantle the base, and you did not feel that it was griefing, we do not allow players to mass-deconstruct bases for resources.

4.8 Griefing is act of damaging or destroying a player base, storage container, vehicles or their contents using OOC knowledge, ill intent or doing so without IC reasoning that is proportionate to the damage done.

The key phrase is 'IC reasoning proportionate to the damage done.' The IC reason of 'I need nails/planks' does not justify a mass dismantling of a base for resources. As stated here by Roland, its okay to dismantle walls to get to the loot/gear, but it is not okay to dismantle bases for the resources themselves. Due to this, you will be found guilty of griefing. However, we have decided to lessen your punishment as the logs plainly show that you did in fact immediately start to use all the resources that you took from the base, over the course of nearly 8 hours. For this reason we will be lessening your punishment.

Griefing - @Mademoiselle - Items being stolen is not griefing; nothing was maliciously despawned and for this reason we won't be finding you guilty of griefing.
