Hello staff,

Quick question, Can you be on a clans roster and be playing a part of said group and have a second character that seemingly knows everything about said group and dislikes/ hates said group.

Example: (all names are fictional aswell as groups)

Lara Johnson is part of the XXX clan she knows a fair bit about said group and is on the roster. People know that Lara is part of said group and have seen and spoken to her within said group.

Lara Johnson then chooses when no one is playing in the XXX clan to switch over to an alt. But said alt seemingly knows everything about the XXX clan when she manages to take one them hostage and then starts to "hostile" RP with them.

Would this be deemed as meta gaming? If so is it report worthy?

Thank you  : )

You cannot carry over information from one character to another.

It is covered in the first point of the metagaming rule, rule 3.5.

3.5 Metagaming is transferring information between Out of Character (OOC) and In Character (IC), despite there being no realistic way of characters or players gaining this information. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Your character knowing someones name because you saw it in the game chat or met them before on a different character
