Skip Deacon is an accomplished US attorney from Atlanta, Georgia that was in Chernogorsk gathering the final touches on a copyright infringement suit against Nota-Cola manufacturers for his main client, Coca-Cola. He has a strong sense of justice and fairness, but often had to represent his corporate clients in less than just circumstances. He was temporarily residing in Chernogorsk with his team of private corporate security, a translator, and a personal assistant while collecting data for the case against Nota-Cola. He had recently discovered that his client, Coca-Cola, had initiated the case after some members of the Chernarussian government promised relaxed bureaucracy and legal protections because they looked to gain from creating a market for Coca-Cola and other Western products. Skip is single and considered himself "married to the law," although he embraced his single, successful life with dating, partying, and fine things. In spite of his expensive lifestyle, he grew up poor on a cattle farm and does not mind "roughing it" without modern conveniences. He was raised Baptist, but he really believes in God's law more than the actual existence of God. He has above average knowledge of human nature, law, and recreational drugs from his corporate lawyer career. He also has knowledge of game hunting and herding from his life on a cattle farm.
