De Vries, nicknamed Klepper, was born in Amsterdam. As a kid he was always a wild one, getting in to fights at a young age which even led him to juvenile prison. where he later would be released early. In 2005 he started a moving company which he would later use for burglaries. as he grew older he noticed that the money that was coming in wasn't close to enough and he decided to ditch the company and started racketeering. This way he started to make a name for him self so he could break loose of his fathers emporium, this was where his criminal career would take off. Because of his fathers presence in the underworld he wasn't shy of contact and would later find him self in company with the sons of his fathers friends who also had a violent youth. The group still nameless and based in Amsterdam committed harder crimes and also more and more often. He was the mastermind behind the November 2010 Bank robbery in Haarlem where 8 people died. In February 2011 the police caught 2 associates of de Vries which would later testify against him but he is nowhere to be found. A few years have past when in 2018 They found a lead on the possible location of de Vries but when the police started the investigations were terminated because of an unknown order from a higher person in the hierarchy, to this day its still unknown who gave that order. De Vries got away again but would later found himself in trouble when he attended his fathers funeral where the police was present as well.

De Vries would get away and left the country immediately. No trace was ever to be found of him again. Some people de Vries knew told the press he was sailing the ocean to find a paradise where he could start over.
with him still at sea and no internet available to him he couldn't possibly know there was an enormous virus outbreak. With the poles melting with new water to sail. He set course to Scandinavia where he later would build a new life in Nyheim.
