Born into a middle class family in London, Jim was 6 years old when he was orphaned. No remaining family were found. Over the following years in institutional care, he was lead into gang activity as a young messenger. His name was mocked and, after some jammy situations, the name "Jammer" stuck. Growing up, he got involved in more serious offences and spent time with different dodgy criminal groups. He fell behind with his education and was involved in several serious crime investigations. In one of these, a small trace in an incident of assault led to him receiving 6 months jail time as an 18 year old, as opposed to some more serious allegations for more important members of the current group. Jim tried to gather up the pieces of his life after getting out. He signed up for the military ground forces, but only months after passing basic training, left due to constant penalisation on 'Unacceptable' behaviour. Upon returning to his rough home area in London, it didn't take long for him to get back into criminal activity. Mugging, threatening and robbing anyone for the right price, Jammer caught the eye of an anonymous person. He got involved in the movement of weapons in various areas across Europe, each paying better than the last. Unwilling to deny a large sum of money, some business came up to bring certain deliveries from Russia to some people in Chernarus. Just after this transaction, the chaos ensued. He couldn't contact those that had given him this job and was unable to leave the country. In the wrong place at the wrong time, he missed boats that came to rescue people and other relief efforts. Instead, he was left in a country where he didn't speak the local language and had no geographical knowledge. Somehow, he managed to survive by any means necessary. Questionable acts were done in promise of supplies. Scavenging, stealing, murder. Nothing was off the table for survival.
