Jukka was born in Joensuu, Finland, near the border with Russia. He was brought up in a post-Winter war shaken home, his family old refugees kicked out from their homes in Karelia. His father was an alcoholic and his mother a broken woman with little empathy left. Jukka got his mandatory education and left for the army as all boys in Finland who turn 18 do. There he felt true comradery for the first time, and decided to pursue a military career for a bit longer, meaning he also wouldn't have to go back home to his family. While there, he was forced to learn russian, as he served right on the border. He continued his days in the army, conversing with the other drop outs of society, and learning how to lockpick and steal, which developed into quite a problem for him, as he kept stealing cigarette packets and money, for which he was kicked out of the army.
Now jobless and homeless, Jukka contacted an old friend who he had met a while ago and was the one who introduced him to the world of petty crime. This friend told him about a country far away from Finland, a country called Chernarus. There would be plenty of work there to be had, in middle of all the chaos going on there. When they got to their destination, there was rumours of an abandoned province full of opportunity to be had.
And so the crew smuggled themselves to the province and continued their journey to seek riches.
