Axel served most of his adult life in the military, he did numerous tours up until his release, he grew up as a single child with no brothers or sisters.

he lived out a pretty ruff estate so had a bad childhood and this is what pushed him into to the military 

he met his wife in the military Alisha, she was a medic and he was trained in mechanics, she was released before him but continued in medicine, she got offered a pretty well paid job in Norway so the plan was to start there life there.

Axel had to stay in England and finish his time in the military so she left to start building there new life.

once Axel was released he began packing his little belongings onto his motorbike to head for the ferry to Norway

he had to set up in a hotel to wait the ferry to get over there, this is when everything took a turn for the worst unsure what was going on in the world...…. there was some sort of virus spreading.

Axel had no knowledge of what was going on his only intention was to find his wife...

he managed to get the ferry across to Norway before it got to bad in the search for her, he some how lost his phone on the ferry and had no contact number for her only the address she give him so he set off on his travels in search of his wife..
