Arne Williams had a bad upbringing early in life when his father was killed in a convenient store. Arne's mother Sarah did everything she possibly could before they went broke and had to live in the streets. Despite this, Arne stayed positive despite how things were going. When Arne turned sixteen, he got involved with construction working seven days a week to hopefully turn things around and help him and his mother get a place to call home and have a fresh start. After several months of hard work, Arne saved up enough money for an apartment for his mother and him. Two years later he met Alexis who hired the construction company he worked for to help renovate a building for a new business. Arne got to know Alexis after a while and eventually started dating. One day, Arne was approached by his boss and asked if he would like an overseas gig that would be good money. Since Arne made almost enough to scrape by, naturally he agreed and took the offer. That job brought him to Nyheim to help construct schools and other facilities to help the people there. After two months of working in Nyheim, something unexpected happened. AVM-FLA-19 broke out and put the region in a state of lockdown. Arne was now trapped in another country with no way back home and no way to contact his mother Sarah, or his girlfriend Alexis. With this pandemic on the loose, some people became violent and started attacking others for supplies that were getting scarce. After being stuck in a hotel for several months, the government came out with a vaccination for the country. Arne decided to stay put to pray that this blows over so he can go home. Months turned into a year and things were looking very grim with the city looking like a barren place void of life and people. Arne had to use most of his savings just to buy food and supplies just to get buy but eventually the stores were raided by desperate people who wanted so badly to survive. One night Arne heard screaming from outside his hotel room. Arne looked out the window and saw a person harming another in the dark. He couldn’t make out if it was a fist fight but deep down, he knew that something more was at play. The town became a warzone for people who wanted to survive and people who seemed to have gone crazy and attacked random people in the streets or in their homes. The military made its grand appearance making blockades in the town that Arne was staying in and eventually they started attacking the town and leveled buildings. A moment later, the hotel started taking fire from artillery and the floor Arne was on collapsed. Arne was buried in the rubble with only a few scratches and bruises but was rendered unconscious from the fall. Arne woke up a day later to ruins of what once was a thriving town. He knew at that moment that he needed to get home. Arne gathered what he could from the rubble and made his way down from the ruined hotel building. Once Arne got to level ground he looked and listened but all there was was ruins and small gusts of wind and falling debris of what once were buildings. Arne made his way out of town in search of a way out of Nyheim.
