Jon Andrews isn't a kin to anyone, but himself.  The Outbreak and political upheaval didn't concern Jon initially since he took no kind to people.  He simply lived in his own moment.  Drifting wherever he please.  That lifestyle has become more difficult when more and more people drift the lands to survive.  Hunting, and crafting his way to a life-style that suited him.  Never really staying in one place more than a week, people never get much of a chance to learn who Jon was, but drifting to new locations and eventually finding his way all the way to Nyheim in 2019

Jon always his his eyes and ears from politics, and kept to himself.  That stuff just pissed him off.  Everyone was an idiot in his eyes.  As much as he had seen the infection take people all around him, he wondered why he never contracted the virus.  But it was nothing more than a shrug of the shoulder to him.  Until he realized the cities he avoided most of his life, started to collapse.  When Jon had to venture into town, or a more public area.  Its was only for a short time.  It was obvious he couldn't ignore the state of the world and political climate around him anymore.  It was now being the very thing that he had to worry about.  The weather, food and water was everyone's concern, not just his anymore.  Everyone was just doing what he had done willingly for so long.  Drifting and surviving.  But drifting aint so easy when the worlds locked down and everyone's desperate.  Now Jon has no choice but to be involved in the lives of others, for its the only way he can survive himself.
