Thor grew up in an average Norwegian home. Known as the crazy one in the family, he was always out doing stupid things with his friends. Not once did he ever come home with clean clothes, either he has been fighting in the mud or he was pushed into the water by his friends. So you could say he liked having fun and doing risky things, always chasing the adrenalin. Once they were able to get their hands onto fireworks, but those boys with fireworks were not safe. Bound to go wrong, so of course Thor put his hands on fireworks. He lit a faulty firework, which ended in it exploding in his hand. So now he has burns all over his left arm leaving huge scars.

His family were trying to form him into something good. He had zero focus for everything that had anything to do with school. He simply did not care at all. His mother was tired of it, so they sent him to a boarding school close to Nyheim a few hours away from where they lived. Now alone Thor struggled, he did not have his friends. His focus and concentration was all over the place. The school was strict and you could get punished if you broke the rules. It was not violent but he had less freetime and was strictly monitored by the teachers. He hated it, so one day he escaped.

He took the bus home with the little money he had and begged his parents to take him out of the school. His father was often on Thors side so he convinced his mother that he could work instead, making his own money. He was offered to move to his aunt in Nyheim to work in his aunt's bakery. As long as he did his job and was nice and behaved he could live there.
