After growing up as a troubled teenager in small town Colorado, he needed to get out of there. He began working on a shipping freight, leaving behind his wife and baby daughter for months at a time. He was at a port in Siberia when all ports were closed because of the outbreak. Stranded in an unforgiving landscape, he hotwired a car and made his way south, eventually ending up in Chernarus. He still holds out hope that one day he'll find a working aircraft and make it back to Colorado to his family.
