Hunter Derek was born in Panama City, FL, US in 1996 in a low income household, which instantly moved back to where they used to live, Watertown, NY. Hunter was thought to be a special needs child, due to him not speaking for a couple of years until about age 3, where he started to say his first words. With the early years of Hunter going to school, he went to preschool at age 4, and attended a public school until about age 7. At age 8, Hunter had attended a private school in Watertown, in which he stayed in for the rest of his school years. With this, he had a lot of ups, as well as some downs. Hunter was diagnosed with moderately severe depression at age 13, and put onto medication for it. As well as during this time, he met his future wife, Kay. Kay was a beautiful blonde haired girl, who was a small bit taller than him. Of course, the relationship had ups and downs, but in the end, they decided to get married in the future.

After high school, Hunter and Kay moved to Brooklyn, New York, and Hunter decided to get a job within the NYPD. Before he applied, his depression had virtually disappeared, in which it didn't affect him as much. So with this, he got trained, and boom, he became a police officer for the NYPD. With the entire pandemic starting in 2019, and the pandemic getting worse and worse, by March of 2020, Hunter and Kay fled the US, and flew to Rovaniemi Airport in Rovaniemi, Finland. Not too much happened then, besides having a daughter, both attempting to learn Finnish, but then said "Meh, fuck this" and didn't do so. Whenever October 4th hit, both were panicking, since the internet and television was all they had for entertainment, and it was limited to governmental and military use.

With the entire situation going on with the Russian invasion of Finland, and the attacks from 21NS attacks, Hunter and Kay were split up, and Kay had their daughter. Hunter was taken by Finnish military, and was being escorted north, while Kay was going south. Before they were escorted, they promised each other to meet up in the end. This unfortunately didn't happen, and somehow, Hunter was caught in a 21NS infection attack, in which he stole an infected soldier's pistol, and shot the infected. After this, he ran off to the north.

Somehow passing Norwegian borders undetected, he walked very slow, and survived on the food and water in the environment, but Hunter ended up about 20 miles out of Nyheim by Christmas, in which he spent in the woods, trying to stay warm. By January 5th, he decided that it was time to move, which he started to make his move to Nyheim, and made it by January 9th, 2022.


After sometime in Feburary, and after meeting some new friends, Hunter decided to go back on the hunt for his wife and child. He travelled for days and days, but no luck in finding them. It got to a point where he decided to just keep going south, not stopping until he reached some sort of civilization. It wasn't long though, he was held up by bandits near Saint Petersburg, and was robbed and knocked out. They kept knocking him out for almost two days, barely feeding or giving Hunter anything to drink until for some reason, the vehicle crashed. Hunter woke up somewhere in South Zagoria, Chernarus, robbed the truck, and is now on a move to find new people. Will he find himself a good group to roll with? Maybe a few friends? Or will he end up like he did in Nyheim, almost tied up into dirty work and forcing himself to leave for his safety again? The choice is his, but luck best be on his side.



Sometime during August, Hunter had somehow made his way back up to Nyheim. It's unknown why or how he made it all the way back up, but he's now reentering Nyheim.
