"I have come not to bring peace, but a sword and the Lord has truly blessed this war."
Jan Pavlik was born in September of 1983 to a city-living, working class family in Novigrad, his mother worked as a labourer at a textile factory, his father was a local Novigrad police officer. Jan went to a primary school inside of the capital, he would take interest into the military in his earlier years, especially the Chernarussian Navy, reading books about the earliest history of Chernarus, Jan read and read becoming the top of his class during the earliest years in primary school. By the time Jan was eight Chernarus had gained its independence from the USSR, taking a quite big impact on his family, his mother and father losing their jobs inside of the city they ended up moving closer to the coast in a remote village as jobs and money was becoming a rarer thing.
By the time Jan was at least fifteen he takes an interest in the old monarchy of Chernarus, the dukes, duchesses, counts, and especially the Kozub dynasty which ruled Chernarus until the 1600s.
Jan at age 14 enters high school, hoping to finish so he can get a job and support his parents who were still struggling from the move and independence. In 1990's during the First Chechen War and a influx of refugees Jan begins to grow a hatred towards the Chechen people and the faith of Islam, in his eyes he thought of them stealing jobs and hurting the economy, Jan tries to stay as far as he can from the Chechen camps.
When Jan graduated high school in 2001 he went out to look for jobs inside of the capital, getting a job at a supermarket, ending up working there for a couple of years until he leaves for the Chernarussian Defence Academy in 2003. Striving to become an Amphibious Infantry, it was going to be a long and rigorous task for Jan but despite all odds Jan graduates from the Chernarussian Defence Academy in 2005, quickly being assigned to a small flotilla off the coast of South Zargoria under Admiral Nespenov, Jan gains trust and loyalty towards the Admiral.
When the civil war began in 2009 the flotilla Jan was assigned to stayed in the bay of South Zargoria providing support for the Chernarussian ground forces, Jan was to be transferred back to Novigrad with the flotilla for maintenance. The civil war was ended abruptly when the Americans intervened and pushed the ChDKz all the way up to the northern border. While the Americans were here to advise and intervene Jan was taught some English by the American troops he met during his tour of duty, when they left Chernarus Jan tried to learn as much English in his spare time as possible.
Jan still assigned to the same Admiral and flotilla was on a constant patrol around the South Zargoria region up until 2017 when the entire region was hit by protests, riots and then martial law. The Chernarussian Navy was put on high alert when the Russian Airforce raided the northern border. A strange infection had grasped the northern border of South Zargoria. Chernarus and Russia signing a ceasefire in the later stages of the outbreak half of the flotilla was sent back to Novigrad to help with security and defense there, while Jan was assigned to the Admirals Flagship still tasked to assist CDF ground forces inside of Chernogorsk and Elektro. When the Americans intervened and left again. Jan and the ship he was assigned to lost contact with Chernogorsk and Novigrad, the ship would be sunk 2kms of the coast of South Zargoria by unknown means, possibly ChDKz, the Admiral, a couple of high ranking officers and a handful of the ships crew including Jan would land in Chernogorsk with nothing but their evacuation boat and some equipment, their objective now was to find any remaining government forces inside of the region and hopefully restore contact with Novigrad.
After the meeting in Chernogorsk during November and the war began between the CPG and Kamenici Jan deserted the CPG leaving all his old allies and friends behind refusing to fight against his brothers in Kamenici since he had already previously fought with them against New Moon and House a few weeks prior to the Chernogorsk meeting. Jan went into hiding for 3 months until the whole thing blew over, once he had comeback from the mountains he had noticed CPG was nearly wiped out except for his friend Leopold, so they both went out and looked for the Stonemen knowing some of them personally and wished to fight for them once again.
