Background

Oskar was born in Miroslavl to a single mother after his father had left her in the early stages of her pregnancy. He grew up being a proud Chernarussian and joined the CDF at an early age.

During the civil war when the CDF troops were forced to retreat under the Chedaki onslaught Oskar felt that the CDF commanders were cowards who should be hanged for ordering such a thing and decided that he was willing to fight the ChDKZ to the last man standing. This was the hardest decision he ever had to make and as he was leaving behind many people he had shed blood sweat and tears with. He decided to go AWOL and instead joined the NAPA paramilitary units who stayed back and fought. During the civil war he met and got to know a man called Mikhail Barta.

Oskar was with Mikhail when he made his valiant effort to evacuate the families (including Oskars mother) to safety. Oskar felt like he still had the duty to serve his country so after a few weeks of wondering the apocalyptic wasteland that Chernarus had turned into he came to the conclusion that joining Kameníci was the best way he could achieve this. At first he was very vocal about how he felt about the violent acts some of the more radical members were partaking in but now that he has witnessed the "stonemen" do some extremely heinous acts and being forced to do them himself it has slowly wore him down to the point that he has become completely radicalised and he has forced himself to believe this is the right thing to do just to cope with the things he has seen and done.
