Ragnar Lothbrok is a Norwegian born and raised. He was a military man his whole life and went from serving in the Norwegian military to working with a private military contractor later in life. Because of his experience in the forces Ragnar was deployed to Germany to help get high value assets (people) out of the chaos and into their million dollar bunkers to wait out the apocalypse. Ragnar had no idea the level of destruction and chaos about to occur. While communications and organization quickly broke down, Ragnar look the need to get back to his family in Norway as priority number one. He has a wife and two young girls back home after all. With no way to communicate to them he stole a boat out of Kiel Harbor Germany. Ragnar, not a sailor by any means took a long, chaotic and dangerous boat ride across the straits and docked somewhere in southern Norway. After fighting his way home Ragnar finally arrived to find his re-animated daughters and what little remained of his wife. Attacked by them he was forced to put them out of their misery, a haunt he will never forget. Ragnar took his rage out on the looters and re-animated. After his rage subsided he became more clear minded and realized his skills for survival might help others. Rather then waste his life in depression and misery he vowed to do right to anyone deserving, and to protect the vulnerable. Ragnars last know location was heading North towards Nyheim. He heard a rumor the cold markes the dead slower....
