When the Chedaki attacked, Viktor was living in Gorka, his home town. He saw the news and knew it was time for him to go to action. He became part of CDF and was getting prepared for another attack. One month after the initial attack, the Chedaki attacked once more, but with ferocity and organized forces. Being a CDF Front Line-man, he felt the full power of the attack. He fought his hardest but ultimately had to fall back into Zelenogorsk with his comrades to try and recoupe from their losses. He was trained by NATO forces and learned many new techniques, from group tactics to small Guerilla style assaults. He knew CDF was going to win back Chernarus, he felt the might and loyalty of the Chernorussian people pushing him forward. He continued to fight, but he was injured in combat. He got hit by a stray bullet and it struck his right shoulder. He recovered quickly from the wound, wanting to get back in the fight to defend his people. After this, he was struck in the face with a piece of shrapnel from an IED deployed by Chedaki forces. He did recover eventually, but he had a scar across the left cheek just under his eye. He saw the end of the war and thanked his lucky stars for being alive and seeing his family once more.

The day Martial Law was inacted, Viktor once more joined CDF, ready for another civil war. But this did not mean he wanted another war tearing his beloved country apart. He was with the first troops that set up a perimiter around the old warehouses on July 7th. He helped set up roadblocks and checkpoints. He loved this work, keeping the peace, making sure nothing unruley happened. When the Russians killed the soldiers in the base he was outraged, ready for a fight but he and his outfit were pulled from the positions they setup and called to Zelenogorsk. He was among the first to see the undead soldiers. Seeing one of his former allies with his arm torn off and half of his face gone. He was freaked out by this point and began firing at the man, he kept coming but finally, he shot him in the head and he dropped dead. He was distraut at this point. He then knew something big was about to happen. Some major event was going to unfold. He was right. A few weeks later, CDF forces fell to former comrades turned enemies due to this mysterious virus. He was angry and blamed the Russians for all of this, for kiling his friends and making his country fall into turmoil once more. He returned home as quickly as possible. He found his family dead, all of them. His hometown of Gorka had been ransacked. Nothing was left but bodies and fire from burning cars and buildings. He stayed in Gorka for the remainder of the destruction of his land. He buried all of his friends and family wilst killing the infected. He was holed up in the church of Gorka for a long time before he felt like it was time to move again.

Viktor started traveling and trying to help out anyone in need, but he leaned more towards his fellow Chernorussians instead of the UN and NATO forces and outsiders that impregnated his once beautiful country. He vowed to kill every Russian that was in his country and wanted to help out everyone that saught refuge in his beautiful Country.
