Corey was born and raised in a small Tennessee town, born to a small farm family he grew up fast learning the hard work that comes with being the only child in a farm house. Growing up he loved football, in high school he was the starting running back for the local team, no star athlete by any means but he always worked hard and pushed himself to be better.
After high school he joined the Marine Corps and off to Parris Island he went, spending the majority of his adult life (2007-Present) going from duty station to duty station and assignment to assignment, he was a rifleman, S.A.W. gunner, and team leader. Reaching the rank of Staff Sargent he leads a small security team through Iraq and Afghanistan and now into Chernarus.
On July 10th, a typical Monday for Corey, riding into work; the mundane checkpoint to get through the gate, the scrambling civilians trying to make it to their jobs on time, a morning staff meeting to kick off the day. As the staff meeting goes on the briefing of the bombing that took place approximately 12 hrs. earlier halfway around the world is underway, orders are given and Corey finds himself, and his team on standby for assignment. 24 hours later they are leaving for Istanbul.
Arriving in Turkey on the 12th, the long red eye military flight, on board the loud cargo plane; Corey disembarks and moves to find his chain of command. No time to settle in the next few days are spent adjusting to the time and getting daily briefs on the current situation happening just to the East. As the NATO flotilla arrives Corey is shuttled to one of the vessels en route to the Green Sea where the await orders and watch the bombing continue until the 17th when he is dropped into Electrozavodsk. Reinforcing the CDF for the next 48 hours would prove to be the fight of his life, until finally the order is given: "Were overran, withdraw".
Now Corey finds himself alone in the country side, waiting for NATO to come in; but that wait may last longer than he thinks.
