Jack was a soldier in Chernarus, Balota Airfield until 2020. He grew up in Sweden and lived there until he was 20 years old. Then he moved to Chernarus. Also his brother August followed him there, he did not join Jack but he moved to Chernarus aswell. There was a virus that swept through China back in 2019, People outside China called this as a hoax by the Government in order to make people stay inside etc. The People went on, ignoring the threat and the virus just spread more and more. In late September 2021, Jack got a call from August, August wanted to join him at the airfield. The others at Balota did not seem to care that August wasn't trained at all, since more soldiers were absolutely needed at the time. Once August got there, he helped them figure out something weird was going on and that they had to figure out what actually was the problem and do something about it. In august 2020, Chernarus capital, Novigrad is captured by Russia, they got a strange hold of the entire country, Jack and August are being forced to evacuate Balota in order to get away from the Russian Forces. Small skirmishes started to break out across the country, and one of these is where the Balota army decide to go. In October 2021, the internet goes dark, there is no reception at all meaning the internet is no longer accessible to anyone. When people tried to use television, there was just a looping emergency broadcast showing. September 15th 2021: Symptoms of the virus are growing stronger, the infected are now raging, attacking anything in their way. Jack, his brother, and the others from Balota are trying to fight the infected but there is soon way too many. On the 3rd December the gates for PLIKT open. On the 8th January James (one of the guys that was with Jack and August in Balota) came back there and managed to find both Jack and August, James told Jack and his brother that there was a place for them in Norway where they would be safe, and that they would have to follow him there right now, they did not have space for the others. Jack and his brother accepted the offer and got the stuff they needed with them before they left, saying goodbye to everyone there with a tear in their eyes. Then the three of them headed to Norway, all the way to the PLIKT camp and they waited for a long time before they finally got accepted into the camp. Now Jack and August is hoping to start a new life in Norway.
