Michael, a struggling writer working as a waiter, set off to Chernarus to get inspiration for a Non-fiction book. Struggling to write anything a publisher was willing to pick up, he decided that writing about the effects of the Chernarus Civil War during and before would catch the eye of someone. Arriving in the small country, he visited many of the cities along the coastal road interviewing citizens who experienced the war first hand. His trip was planned for a week and a half, but his return would soon to be canceled. Michael had been in Chernogorsk for the first week of the infection. Hearing about the infections form refugees coming from the east, Michael was determined to stay, for he found a new story. He witnessed the madness the ensued Chernogorsk in the coming week and fled with the rest. On the road, lost and with barely anything that could be used for survival, he began to ransack empty homes. Moving North to get away from the mayhem, he was hoping to find a way out, for writing this story was not worth his life. Soon it would dawn on him, that the only escape, shall be death.
