Avery was born and raised in Oregon, in the United States of America. Living with her American father and her Chenarussian mother. Since she was little, she could only remember having a loving family. Her fathers' parents very nice, but also very wealthy. Which every year during the summer she would visit her grandparents in Chenarus, living with them for a few months each time. It was a lovely place to her, even if Oregon was green. Most of the time back home was spent on school and worrying about the kids in school treated her, see Avery was born with a slight speech impediment.

She wasn't stupid, Avery was a rather intelligent girl for her age. But kids can be cruel and often were to Avery, which ended with her being afraid to talk to others not wanting them to tease her or make fun of her. It had caused a problem within her loving family, with her father wanting her to talk more....and wanting to put her into therapy for her speech problem. When her mother was different and wanted Avery just..to be herself and learn to live with it. As it seemed it wasn't going to get any better. Things only got worse from there as they began to fight constantly, until one day they just split up. Divorced and all.

Avery was still young at this time, a twelve-year-old shouldn't have to see that kind of arguing. Sadly for her, her father won custody over Avery as she was an American citizen and her mother wasn't. So her mother left back to Chenarus to be with her family. Leaving Avery with her father and those were some of the worst parts of her life, as there was no one to contest her taking therapy. It seemed to make it worse and lead into her becoming almost a mute. The only times she looked forward to was visiting her mother for the summers, and they were the best. That was...until the summer of 2017..
