Tor Robert "Bobbie" Askeladden is a former mechanic who has grown up down south in Norway near Tvedestrand.

As a young lad Bobbie was rather fond of mechanical engineering and got a bachelor's degree in automasjon at the University of Tromsø at the age of 22 after a couple years of theater school where he, poorly, attempted to become a character actor for movies about tunnels and large buildings collapsing (which is a rather common movie trope in Norway).

It was because of his studies at Tromsø which made him move up north once shit started hitting the fan. Being a mechanic he felt that he should easily be able to maneuver a car filled with some tools and other hardware from his shop to find some peace of mind while the world was falling apart.

Of course, Bobbie was not too much of a survivalist without the power of electricity, and often wishes he had spent some time in the scouts instead of enjoying Eastwood flicks in his youth. Of course, there is no real place for the brutal domenier of Eastwood nowadays, as Boobie hopes some people still have some good left in them. This means that in the end, Bobbie is still rather dependent on finding some good people who can help him learn the ropes in Nyheim, though Bobbie is a little worried that others might have watched one too many cowboy flicks before stuff went south and shoot before they ask questions.
