Jack Knightly, age 24, was born in Redding, California. Growing up Jack had 4 brothers, a loving mother, and a far away father whom he did not have much contact with. In his early years Jack lost most of his family and his girlfriend in a gruesome Terrorist attack while shopping at his local grocery store. The assailant, an unnamed member of an American grown extremist movement drove a jerryrigged armored SUV through the Plaza of the grocery store killing Jacks mother, his girlfriend, and 3 of his brothers and injuring his 4th brother Jeremy. This left Jack devastated for most of his early life and causing him to develop a cynical sense of humor and a heavy hatred in his heart for those who Initiated the attack. Surprisingly, Jack also developed a well leveled head and a high level of concentration in heated situations leading him to eventually join the army and earn the rank of E-3 PFC as well as making himself known as a crackshot in the 2nd Battalion of the 75th Ranger regiment. Jack was known for being an effective Hostage negotiator and was selected to be apart of the first Set of U.S. Army operatives sent to Chernogorsk. Jack ended up being seperated from his squad when the riots began pushing U.S. forces out of the Area. being trapped within the city as the riots erupted Jack climbed up one of the highest buildings to gain his bearings. Once upon the top of the building Jack looked down to see that the infected had not only been within the city limits but had began already assaulting the rioters upon the streets. Jack only saw screaming civilians and bloodthirsty infected chasing them down as they were attracted to the noise and decided to wait upon the roof to await either an evacuation attempt or for the infected to finish with the population below him. Jack waited for a long time attempting to ignore the whales for help and the bashing to the panel door to reach the roof he was awaiting upon until he looked up hearing the screams of jet engines only to see they were dropping hellfire upon the city Jack quickly made his way down the building praying one of the doors he opened on his way down wouldn't be hiding an infected waiting to eviscerate him. Opening the front door of the building revealed a horrible sight. bodies of civilians and infected face-down on the ground all around the perimeter of the city, Jack quickly recuperated and noticed that a number of those thought-to-be-lifeless bodies started to rise and he realized the fire bombing didn't get the job done, and he ran for the coast hoping to find safe haven with either the squad he arrived with or allied forces that had come to aid the crisis in the first place.
