Born in the County  of West Virginia USA Rick was born into a farmers family with his mother Cherise Noble and Father David Noble. Rick had a good upbringing and used to run the fields and tease the cattle around the farm. By age 10 Rick was helping his Father with farming duties and was capable of feeding the livestock, herding the cattle and began learning to ride the horses.

8 years later and Rick is 18 he still works the farm and is doing well in school. He is a great driver and is always going to the local racetrack to drive around without road laws, racing is an interest of his as he watches Formula 1 but wants it as a hobby not a career. His knowledge of farming is much more competent and he has been doing more and more as his dad comes of age. At school he's learning law in hopes to become a lawyer and help his father in his battle against land development agencies eyeing up his farm for accommodation building. All was well and happy.... For now.

A further year later and Ricks' father falls ill, the farm is in Ricks' inheritance but he isn't near ready to own and manage the farm. After a few months battling the worry of his father on his death bed Rick began falling behind at school as he kept managing the farm more and more, then the bad news arrived his father had passed. This was a huge turning point in Rick' life and the saddest. His father was gone, already the land companies were all over him for the land and he held off for as long as he could before he had to give in. The farm was sold for under 200 grand and Rick had been kicked out of school for absence. Now what does he do?

He purchased a house in Virginia and moved his girlfriend (Mindy) in with him as they restarted fresh in life. Rick wanted to make a difference and joined the Virginia County Sherriffs Department. This involved 2 years of training on the job and in the classroom. Rick and his Girlfriend got pregnant which only spurred him on more to do well in Law Enforcement. He eventually completed his training and was now a sherriffs deputy. He patrolled the small quiet town and welcomed his little girl to the world a daughter named Kat, who he loves her very much and is very protective of her. They have a strong bond and he would lay down his life to make the town she will grow up in safe. All was going well once again in his life and Rick felt meaning in his life once again.

After his maternity leave he was back on the job and came a huge day of his career. Rick was patrolling the county when a call comes in of an officer down. A traffic stop had turned violent and an officer was shot as a result the car in question was now escaping with a tail light shot out. Rick was on the hunt searching every fast escape road from the scene. Eventually a red muscle car speeds past him. He glances in his rear view mirror and noticed the tail light was out. The chase was on after a 30 minute pursuit that felt like forever the car lost control and crashed into the towns diner, a tall white man ran I to the diner and grabbed a waitress, Rick grabbed his rifle and followed. The man used this poor waitress as a shield shouting abuse and demands, Rick took aim and held his shot for 10 mins attempting negotiations. SWAT was 1 hour away and this guy was way to twitchy to last that long. Rick winked at the waitress and she elbowed the man and broke free. Rick seized the opportunity, as the suspect raised his pistol towards him, and fired 2 shits into his Torso.
That was the first and last person Rick killed, he was placed on administration leave until the shooting was cleared, who h it was. He dealt with it by just being with his family and remembering why he does what he does. Sometimes he sees the man's face in pure detail but then remembers that waitresses face and the family she now has.

10 years later Rick is 30 and a Corporal in the Sherriffs Department meaning more responsibility such as training the next generation of law enforcement officers. His daughter goes to school and his now wife works as a doctor at the towns clinic. He wants to push for his 15 year pension and wants to get to Sergeant before then so it's a good amount of money. The fastest way to do this was do 1 year of protection services for Government officials. He considered this so he could secure his familys future.

2018 and Rick has completed his 1 year security training so he can reach a better sherriff rank. He has now been assigned to a US Diplomats security team and has been travelling across the states providing protection for Edward Caster. Edward was a decent guy and Rick agreed he was worth protecting, Edward was especially pushing for humanitarian aid bills which would revolutionise helping other countries. After a year with Edward (now 2019) Rick and his team had the experience of going abroad to Norway for a humanitarian meeting and Edward was of course attending. They had a 1 month plan for several meetings and speeches. 2 weeks into the tour reports of an unknown virus by the name of AVM-FLA-19 was reported to the team. Soon they were caught in a country wide lockdown in a hotel. The team showed no symptoms. On September 14th, 2021 a planned sanitisation of the streets was ordered to try contain the virus. Lucas was able to communicate with his family via Edwards satellite phone and they were OK and no confirmed cases were on the US yet.
1 day later a broadcast went out, something wasn't right and we were in the dark. The hotel security informed us of rioting in the streets and that we had to move out of this building. We moved Edward out into the street towards his vehicle when it burst into flames! Rick remembers being knocked to the ground flames and smoke all around, dazed and confused he reaches for his Handgun and looks around for Edward. Struggling to breath he stumbles back into the hotel and locks himself into a room.

He awakes. Silence. He slumps off the bed and pears out the window, the city is a wreck but silent. Broken windows, burnt out cars and even bodies. What has he woken up to? What will he do now? It's time to find out.
