Born and raised in the hills of the north of England, Karl lived a relatively normal life with his family in a working class neighborhood. Upon turning 16, he decided that the working life was not for him, and set himself the task to become able to join the armed forces. He spent 2 years honing his physical prowess, setting PB after PB in both endurance and strength based challenges, before applying to join the Royal Marines on his 18th birthday. He passed through each phase with extreme effectiveness, and consistently showed courage and heart when needed to support those around him, and to strive to succeed in any situation. This led to him being given the rank of corporal upon completion of his first tour of afghanistan in 2012. After spending 5 years more in the marines, and 4 tours, he decided that he'd like to explore more than just the violent parts of the world, and upon reading about Green Sea cruises, happened across the Costa Risacca and immediately searched for the next possible trip he could take. Of course, this did not end well as the ship crashed near the coast of South Zagoria, only a few miles from his next destination. He managed to escape the ship, and upon reaching shore has begun to try and find people who can help him in this time of great need.
