Dave was a avid outdoorsman and survivalist in his younger years. He spent his days working on his bush crafting skills, trapping, hunting, and living off the land. He was working on building a cabin up in the mountains for his long term girlfriend, Bailey, when the outbreak hit. They were fine for a while, but when more walkers started coming across their land, Bailey had a breaking point. She had just found out she was with child and couldn't bear to raise a child in this nightmare of a world. Dave found her after he got back from a supply run, it was a dark day as he burned her body so she could never become one of them. It was rough getting on with out her, she was his only reason to strive to do better at one point in time, and now with her gone, finding new meaning is in short supply. He left the cabin just as she left it with a burning hatred for these undead bastards. He is now driven only by his will to survive and not give up without a fight. He aims to find a spot the outbreak hasn't infected yet and wait it out.
