Background
Jace Wixx grew up in Waco, Texas. Both of his parents had served in the United States Army, so he decided to peruse the same career. He attending the United States Military Academy at West Point following his graduation from high school. Upon graduation, he decided to cross branch into the United States Navy. His assignments include an Operations Officer and an Electronics Technician Officer at the Naval Base San Diego.
In August of 2020, Jace Wixx became the Executive Officer of USS Delbert D. Black in Naval Station Mayport. After his successful tensure, in January of 2021, Commander Jace Wixx became the commanding officer. He participated in many training operations with the ship within the Gulf of Mexico, excelling as its commander. Throughout the pandemic, Commander Wixx was able to keep himself and his crew safe as they spent most of their time at sea in training exercises. In September of 2021, while out at sea, his and the rest of the ships were ordered to stay at sea. Over the next month, they began running out of supplies and lost contact with those on land.
In October, he decided to return to shore in order to resupply. Upon returning to shore, he discovered violent individuals that tried to storm his ship. Acting in self defense, his crew subdued the threat. He was able to get ahold of the U.S. South Command Commander, Rear Admiral Gabe Davis. He advised them on the state of the United States and ordered them to take researchers from the Center for Disease Control aboard and go to Nyheim in search of a cure. He was to link up with PLIKT, assist them in any research, and report back any progress. He loaded up the doctors, extra fuel, and equipment to travel to Nyheim in order to conduct further research.
