Early Life

From a young age Declan was hated by his parents as he was an accident. Due to this he was treated harshly by his family with him also having no friends he developed an early stage of schizophrenia

When he was 16 his father came home drunk after a night at the pub, he turned to Declan when they were in the kitchen and in a sudden fit of rage started to assault him. Forced to the other side of the kitchen Declan grabs a blade slitting his fathers throat leaving him to bleed out on the floor.

He took money that was left around the house including his passport and headed straight towards the airport managing to sneak on board a flight to Norway. 

When he landed he was met with a large group of police who arrested him, however instead of locking him away in a jail sell he was placed into a mental institution.

The Outbreak

Over the years he was in the institution Declan started going by Dex instead as well as developing multiple other personalities.

just before the outbreak reached its peak he managed to escape making his way to Nyheim, after a while of staying in the trees not wanting to get caught manages to find a group of people where he felt safe and sane, even though the individuals apart of said group werent.
