Andrzej was born in 1985 under the iron curtain during the Russian occupation of Poland. He remembers little of his early childhood; save for the scarcity of food and the fear of Chernobyl fallout.

As his parents were involved in the Polish Solidarity movement, they were threatened and persecuted. They left Poland when Andrzej was young under the guise of a "vacation" to Sweden. Years later a mysterious beneficiary in Sweden helped Andrzej`s family emigrate to Canada and set up a new life. Andrzej studied Engineering and gained valuable experience building circuits and modifying home electronics. His family kept in touch with their Swedish friend and as rumors of the virus started to circle; this same beneficiary encouraged the family to come to Norway. Unfortunately, upon arrival, Andrzej`s parents succumbed to the virus. With boarders shutdown; Andrzej did odd jobs fixing electronics which eventually got him to Nyheim. Andrzej`s just trying to survive, to gain some stability in all the chaos around him.
