Background

Ryan Moon was born and raised in Houston, Texas. He grew up with a rifle in hand and a need to serve his country just like his father. After high school, Ryan went straight into the military. Unlike his father, who served in the army, Ryan wanted to fly for the Marines . Ryan always had a fascination with helicopters and has wanted to fly them ever since he learned about them. After he completed his helicopter training, he was ecstatic to finally be able to fly. He didn't have to wait long before he received his first mission. Though, Ryan had some weird feeling about the mission. He didn't know much about it. The higher up that came to Ryan's Squad was shady as hell. He told them the barest minimum of details and told them that they would get more details when they've touched ground. Ryan was headed to Norway. Excited to fly but terrified for the destination. He'd heard of everything going on in the country. And yet, he couldn't say no. Though on the way of this shady mission, a massive storm hit. The heli was being beaten by the rain and lightning. Ryan hung onto control for the heli as long as he could. Lightning struck the heli and fried everything. The heli crashed just by the shore. Upon gaining consciousness, Ryan began to look for survivors only to find that he was the only one among his squad. He tried contacting the shady officer for extract, but no one was listening. Ryan figured that if this was an unofficial mission that had failed, they would probably just cover it up and claim it never happened. He waited for days. No one came. Ryan was well and truly alone at this point.
