Keely Zaas is a 41 year old American scientist. She’s in pretty good shape for how the world is now, being a bit lithe, with a small but noticeable amount of muscle. Standing at average height (5’5 ft or 164 cms) with pale freckled skin, copper colored hair and brown eyes. Her only noticeable mark is a scar that goes across her left cheek, which she doesn’t remember how she ever got it at this point. Giving a joking story about how it was received from a knife fight from a shark, or any other random story she can come up with.

Keely is sarcastic and can come across as a bit standoffish, where she has nobody else that she knows or trusts at this point. She’s single currently, with nobody else that she’s close with. While she is confident. Keely knows she has to work on getting closer to others, and feeling comfortable in her own skin.

When the virus broke out, both her and a friend were sent in to research the virus at Nyhiem. In the chance they would hopefully find a cure. Though there was no luck on their end, and with the loss of all of their research, supplies and her friend. Keely was set back completely to the beginning. Where she was stuck and now had to worry about surviving instead of being able to go home.
