Born in 1989 to Gustav & Alica Reznik, Radko was a smart yet rebellious kid. Stealing food from farms outside of Gvozdno, bothering the locals in Severograd. He wanted nothing more than to be a soldier, during the civil war his mother had fallen sick with cancer, she made him promise her that he would not enlist himself into the CDF, she didn't want to spend the last part of her life wondering whether or not her son was dead. Once she passed away and towards the end of the civil war Radko enlisted, becoming a private for the 76th "Jarilo" Mechanized Battalion of the CDF.
Being stationed in other parts of Chernarus a lot of the time but where he really wanted to be was home, defending the province he grew up in. He may have grew up stealing and pestering a lot of the locals, but South Zagoria is his home none the less. So when the infection first happened, he lost contact with his squad and company after a rescue mission for civilians turned wrong. After looking for his Bratr's for days he came to the realization of what has happened. Radko heard that Captain Alexander Bardov was in South Zagoria a few days prior, so by himself he travelled back home to try to rendezvous with the Captain. After his efforts of trying to keep the remaining CDF forces in South Zagoria organized and strong, Radko was field promoted to 1st Lieutenant by Major Kuba Zavodny.
Months down the road the CDF has been scattered, Radko was travelling by himself when he was attacked and held up by a group of Americans. While he had his hands up, shots began to come from all directions and the american's were all killed, and Radko was approached by a man by the name of Viktor Padella. Viktor explained who he was and being former Chedaki, Radko was hesitant. But putting the past behind him he let the man speak about his motives and ideals and he was convinced they were not as bad as he was led to believe in his younger years. So being alone he decided to stick around them and see if he would regret this decision to betray his former beliefs.
