Originally Evelyn Fowler, born and raised in Los Angeles, California, to a wealthy mother and father. Her mother was the heiress to a famous snack company, and when her parents both died, she inherited their fortune and sold off the company for even more money. Her father had been in the military and enlisted lifelong, maintaining a solid career and solidifying his retirement. Evelyn was sent to private school and attended one of the best schools in the region. While her parents expected her to be good in school, they weren’t really too strict on her so long as she maintained good grades and did what she was supposed to. More often than not, her father wasn’t home really, and her mother found other things more entertaining than actually being a mother. Evelyn often spent her summers with her aunt, who happened to be an EMS in San Francisco. She found her work very interesting and enjoyed spending time with her, time she rarely got with her mother or father. Eventually, Evelyn would graduate highschool and she was pretty uncertain what she wanted to do with the rest of her life. One day while walking to her car in the parking lot, a car came speeding through the car lot. Evelyn managed to jump out of the way, but a family with a small boy weren’t so lucky. She ran over to the little boy and performed what she knew of CPR but unfortunately it wasn’t enough and he passed away. The heart breaking event led her to decide she wanted to save lives and she decided to go to nursing school. During her college experience, she was able to get an internship with LAPD TEMS, seeing what life in that field was like. She very much enjoyed it and decided she would want to work for them after she finished college. While in college for her nursing degree, towards her last semester she decided she wanted to get a broader understanding of the world and be more helpful. She decided to join the Peace Corps. While in the Peace Corps she met a guy similar in age in London. They decided to get married after only knowing each other for 2 weeks. The Peace Corps eventually led them from London to Norway, allowing them to study there and provide assistance alongside the humanitarian group PLIKT. Since they loved Norway so much, they decided they wanted to move there, and Evelyn would continue her medical degree at a college there so she could continue to live with her husband. Soon, the outbreak of the AVM-FLA-19 would grow and PLIKT needed more help during this emergency. Evelyn and her husband decided to join PLIKT and help their efforts in trying to minimize the catastrophe of the virus. Things got better after a while, herself and her husband being some of the first to receive vaccinations. But whatever they sprayed in the streets wasn’t the same vaccination... While they attempted to maintain order in Nyheim, her husband was attacked by some of those infected. He was absolutely swarmed. While she panicked and tried her best to get to him to help, others in PLIKT held her back and simply did all they could do, which was to end his life. After this, they began to be more strict about virus precautions and who would be allowed inside the city. They couldn’t risk the city falling as Oslo and many others had.
