My name is Michael Beverly, most people call me the Doc of Pinewood. The reason why I am in Chernarus is because I am overseeing a new Ranch, I own a small string of ranches all around the world called the Pinewood Ranch. We raise and slaughter cattle, I have two in Texas, one in California, one in Montana, and this was the first one outside of the United States just a few Kilometers north of Miroslavi. I bought it because my “new” business partner told me this would be the cheapest place to set one up with the best environment for it. So here I was the first week in and we just bought 20 steers and were rounding them up, out of know where something spooked them and they started charging off course heading for an open pasture. Luckily for me being 56 years old in this business I was able to get them back with little or no help. However, two of the six guys I hired got thrown off and beat up pretty bad. After hearing the news of what was happening with sick people attacking each other my two guys didn’t want to go to no damn hospital so I had to stitch them up and set their bones myself. Thankfully my mother was vet so the knowledge of living on a farm in the southern part of Texas came in handy. That’s when they started calling me the Doc of Pinewood.

Now after about another week went by it seemed we needed to get the hell out of dodge and fast whatever was happening was not being contained in the small part of Chernarus. So we packed our things and were ready to fly out. So I took my guys to helicopter pad in Miroslavi and put them in there, the helicopter pilot was waiting for me to go too but I had too much in stake in this new ranch, I told them I’ll hold the fort till they get back. I had way more than I could bargain with, the first few days alone were easy but finally a small horde of those things came. They killed nearly some third of my 20 cattle and almost me too. I went for the gate to let the rest of the cattle out when one of those things bit my left shoulder. I shrug him off and blew his ol’ head off with a double barrel I kept for critters.  The ranch was basically gone and I feel like this is gonna be a while before the world gets back to normal. The best thing for me to do is survive so I packed a small bag got on the only horse I have left and headed east.
