Jackson Graves is generous, adventurous, and keen. But this is all just a facade, a mechanism to deal with his troubled past.

Jackson grew up in an ordinary family in the middle of a working-class community. At the age of 18, he joined the military and started training in the medical field to help those around him, during his service he was a combat medic for four years but decided after his service to head out into the world and start helping anyone in need in high-risk areas.

He spent the next few years traveling to war-torn countries with a private organization assisting refugees, but as time went on the world began to collapse around him.

He lost his closest friends in a government takeover right before the AVM-FLA-19 hit and was now alone, miserable, and abandoned. All alone he had to survive in a relentless world. But with his fighting skills and bravery, he managed to overcome all odds and escape hell. This has turned him into the man he is today. He joined up with a Volunteering organization of medical professionals known as Médecins Sans Frontières that spread out into teams to assist the communities of the provinces that were hit the hardest by the Virus.

Jackson was assigned to the local Nyheim branch of MSF but was unable to establish any communications with them. He had to head off into Nyheim blind to find the MSF team.
