Skarpi "Bate" Baetis is a simple man through and through, even though he may come off as a convoluted nutcase obsessed with fishing and hunting he tends to follow a straight linear path. As long as he is comfortable and out of harms way he will do as he pleases. He's found of trades whether it be from the fish he caught or from other sources of discovery. As long as he isn't tailed or caught he doesn't mind what the business is. Trade and business is all that he lives by, it's one of the only things that hasn't abandoned him yet. With the passing and slaughter of his wife and children he looks to find new hope in this tarnished wasteland, or to just search endlessly till h draws his last breathe. With his return hoe he lost his fishery and looks to rebuild a new one here in Nyheim, with the little supplies he has left he will do what he can no matter the cost.
