Background
Born in the RVI hospital in Newcastle in 1985 Mal Jenko was born into a working class family who had worked into the mines for generations before the closure of the mines by Maggie Thatcher, after he had left high school at the age of 16 he went to college to pursue a career in engineering in order to try and get a job in the engineering sector of jobs. After 2 years of college he decided to leave and apply for the British Army, specifically the Parachute regiment. He went to Catterick in the spring of 2003 to begin his basic training. After passing out from training in 2001 he was deployed to Afghanistan with 3 PARA, his first deployment was relatively quiet, and he went on to complete a further 6 tours, however in his final tour his squads chinook was shot down over a taliban held town and he was inured by mortar shrapnel whilst returning fire to advancing taliban forces. He was later rescued 2 days later along with the survivors of his squad and the bodies of his fallen comrades. After being discharged from the miltary at the rank of Staff sergeant he found his way into the world of private security with his latest job being providing security to a VIP in the city of Nyheim just before the outbreak and was subsequently trapped in Nyheim when the borders closed, he has since honed his skills as a hunter and now wanders the desolate landscape trying to find his next meal.
