Bill was born in 1954 in Kentucky. His father was a WWII veteran and his mother a teacher in a local high school. He had a strict childhood. Bill's father never gave him a break and always disciplined him to become a good man. Due to a strict childhood and a very patriotic household Bill from his teenage years wanted to join the military and serve his country. Bill was always fascinated by the war stories told by his father. As soon as he finished high school despite the news stating how bad it is in Vietnam and that the war is pointless he signed up for the military. He went through the Bootcamp which he didn't find difficult due to his upbringing and was shipped out to Vietnam.

He was assigned to be a field medic due to fascination and a good understanding of biology in school. When Bill got to Vietnam he was sent straight to the frontlines. He saw many good men die and many get severely injured. He gave his entire heart and soul to the military and was one of the best soldiers in his platoon. In January of 1975 three months, before the war ended, Bill was injured by shrapnel that pierced his knee. The war was over for Bill he was sent to the medical camp for treatment and sent back home to the US. Back home he was greeted back as a war hero by his parents and friends.

Over the years Bill tried to reintegrate himself into society but after countless dead-end jobs, he understood that he doesn't belong in the civilian world and rather be on a battlefield. He tried to reenlist into the US military but due to his injury sustained in Vietnam, he was denied. This angered Bill and he was forced to continue working a dead-end job that he hated very much. In 2020 he decided to take a trip to Norway to see the northern light as a tourist but he ended up staying in the region of Nyheim buying himself a Cabin and isolating himself from the rest of the world. This helped Bill escape his reality.

When the aerial vaccination began across the world Bill was living happily alone in his cabin. One day he needed some essential supplies for his isolated lifestyle so he drove into a local town to get the supplies he needed. To his surprise, the town was a mess. Sick people were wandering the streets, people looting local shops, and violence in the streets. Gunshots could be heard all around the town. Bill without hesitation turned his car around and tried to go back to his Cabin. On the way, he gave a lift to a stranger that explained to him what was going on. Bill smiled and understood that this is what he was waiting for all these years, as this virus declared war on humanity it was time for him to dust off his skills and fight it back. Bill went back to his Cabin, pulled out his illegally smuggled m16 and his field jacket, and set out towards Nyheim city.
