Jacob was born in Missouri, After High School he joined the Navy where he trained in Naval Intelligence before being reassigned to the Office of Naval Intelligence, After a few years he was assigned to the Embassy in Chernarus. After the outbreak started, the whole country was in chaos, When the ambassador fled the embassy, Jacob decided he would leave too and headed to one of the many Safe houses that were set up in the country. For the first few weeks he stayed put in the safe house, only leaving to find food or water when it was necessary, He would gather information from the many survivors he ran into on his supply runs. After a month or so of staying hidden he ventured out to find information on any remaining military members. While visiting Vybor one day, he heard a radio broadcast from a NATO Soldier and decided to arrange a meeting, That's when he met a NATO soldier that had stayed behind when the rest of the NATO forces evacuated, He decided that he would join him and the other soldiers that were with him. After some time with the group he was injured and believed dead, He was picked up by a small group that was living near the northern border, He decided after he healed he would join them. While he was travelling he met a man named Foster, Foster was a man who had been abandoned by the same brothers that Jacob was with, Knowing his hate for NATO he decided not to tell him who he really was.
