Born in the very small town of Granville, Vermont, Henry Chambers was surrounded by a caring and supportive community. His interest from a young age was exploration of the outside, sometimes with the local children, other times alone, and always fascinated by the flora and fauna. That curiosity grew into a passion. Henry achieved great things in early education and then went on to Middlebury College to complete a degree in the newly offered environmental studies and completed 2 PhDs in Plant Biology and Chemistry at Cornell. Now an ethnobotanist and plant anatomist interested in the medical applications of plants, Henry's research has focused on the disruption of cellular processes in flaviviruses using certain species of plants. His interest in the Fringed pink (Dianthus superbus) plant has led him to Norway. His research seems pressing at the moment considering the circumstances. Now in Norway, Henry is isolated and lives with a young friend of his. He focuses on horticulture, research, and building a community of healthy individuals.
