Background
Jackson is an American man from Maine who, just before the lockdowns amid the virus' first cases, was visiting his father in Trondheim. His father, succumbing to the virus in the first days, was in turn killed by Jackson after the walking corpse of his father attacked him. Spending the next few weeks still in his fathers home, he watched the situation around him devolve quickly, and terrifyingly. Jackson, fearing the worst is soon to come, escaped to the woods of Norway, where he has been hiding out and surviving in a small village. Thankfully, due to his past experience as a lumberjack for a living, and a hunter during his off time, his chances feel a bit higher than some. As a result, he's been able to survive by living off of canned food and any small animals he can trap, and drinking melted snow that he's boiled down. He recently began trekking back, after hearing about Nyheim's open access to potential refuges on the radio, hoping to possibly gain access and have a higher chance of survival.
-After the bombs-
Jackson found himself wandering miles upon end throughout the wilderness. He has encountered a few different groups of people, though has had trouble with trusting any. The Religious folks who seem...eccentric. Some russians who helped give him a ride towards more isolated territory, and the few hunters in-between. At a stand still, he wanders in hopes of finding a trustworthy commune of folk to work with.
