Background
Anna grew up in a small town in Wisconsin with her drug addicted mother Marie. Because of the addiction Marie would continuously abuse her daughter allowing whomever that came into the home to do as they please with her as well. Marie favorite type of “punishment” was locking her daughter into a small closet for hours in the dark will she had fun. During the time in the closet, Anna would create friends that would keep her company in the long hours of her stay. One friend in particular was the shadow man in the top hat. He would tell Anna to kill her mother so she could escape. After years of abuse, when Anna turned ten, with the help from the man in the top hat , she escaped from the closet and reached for a kitchen knife that was laying on the counter. The house had three men in the living room passed out from whatever they had been doing. Anna approached them one after the other with a smile on her face, as if the man with the top hat was in her body the entire time. One by one, she sliced the last breathe they were rewarded, remembering the times they came to her in her bed at night and touched her. After the last , she walked into the door of her mothers room as she lay there under the blanks with two more men, climbing on top she killed the men first. Afterward, she stood there towering over her mother as she began to stir. After whispering, “Mommy. It’s time for your dark time.” She ended her mother.
A few days of no one coming to the school and answering the phone, the school sent out the police. When they entered the house they found the dead, as well as Anna sitting in her closet talking to her friends. Anna was then admitted into a mental ward until she turned eighteen. During her stay, she learned how to be normal, or at least pretend to be. As well as, at the age of sixteen she was allowed to graduate high school and start her college. Not being charged with any crimes, she was released into the world were Anna continued her last two years of college and graduated with a degree in forensics physiology and minored in medicine.
In 2018, Anna received a letter from her family from Nyheim. After looking a little more into it she found that it was a region in Norway. The letter informed her that her father grew up in the region and her father’s parents were ill and needed the last of the family alive, Anna, to take care of them. After a little debate she agreed and set off in November of 2018. When she she arrived to her grandparents home she saw that they lived out in the middle of no where with no tv and no internet. Their only source of the outside was a radio. Her grandfather had ran a old camp ground that need maintenance badly. In 2020, he grandmother died form an unknown illness. She had refused to go to the hospital. A few days later her grandfather followed, cause of death was broken heart syndrome. In 2021 after hearing on the radio to that she happened to be listening to while cleaning the home that her grandparents had left her, board of the doors and windows and stay inside, she shrugged and began to board up the windows and doors. In December after hearing nothing from the radio that had been off for a while and food running low, Autumn left her with some equipment to head to the nearest town more than 9km away.
