Marcus Baker was born in Hickory, North Carolina in 1995. His parents were middle class, and he had a good, well rounded childhood. There was nothing particularly special about Marcus Baker, he got good grades in school, had lots of friends, and played sports. When he turned 18, he went to UNC, like both of his parents did. Life was great for him In early 2019, him and his longtime girlfriend traveled to Nyheim, Norway to visit her family. Marcus planned to propose to her here. When the pandemic broke out, they were forced to stay and decided to wait it out. Then, one day in 2021, Marcus woke up one day and found that his girlfriend, and their entire family, had turned into monsters, scratching and biting at him while he pleaded for them to stop. Broken and battered, he escaped to try to find help.
