James is a professional Angler who has a show on National Geographic.

When James was a young man in the back woods of Kentucky he didn’t have many things to do. The one thing he was good at however was fishing. He spent most of his younger days by the pods or streams around his house fishing with either his dad or his grandfather.

James would later get his big break after college. James was in a major fishing tournament where the first prize winner got the chance to accompany a team filming a fishing show for RFDTV.  James won the competition.

While James was on this trip he became close friends with the professional the show was following. This new found friend would go on to introduce James to a producer looking for the next big fisherman for a show on National Geographic.

James was on a trip to Nyheim to film a show of Big River Fishing. 

During his trip the apocalypse began.

An attempt was made to get James out of Nyheim but his exit strategy was blocked trapping him in this cold wasteland.

James travels Nyheim with his camera crew now continuing to film just in case the world ever returns to normal, and Nat Geo needs a Fishermans apocalyptic documentary.
