Early Life
I am the youngest of four children of a brick layer in Leeds, United Kingdom. So, I have always been around the idea of working for what you have. My father was very harsh on us as children, so it led me to resenting him and spending most of my time outside with my friends, making me a very social person. When I was 4 my mother and father divorced due to my father being physically abusive towards me. He had hit me so had one day that I had to have stitches on my left cheek. On the other hand, my mother was very religious and so she would let us get away with many things because she saw her children as sent by god himself. By the age of 10 I was already a troublemaker with all my friends. At this time, I had formed a solid foundation with these boys called: Rees, Ty, and Jack. In my early years these boys were my rocks and so was I to them. We would do everything together and we all lived for each other.

Teenage Years
During the younger years of our teenage life, we would run around the city causing trouble and an unbreakable bond. In my teenage years, my friends and I would do airsoft to pass the time and give some of us ways to relieve stress. Ty and Jack were absolute naturals and suggested that we all joined the army so they could do it every day. This led to all of us joining the military at 17. Rees wasn’t the greatest at the physical aspects but he sure was a morale boost during the beginning of our career. We all saw Rees as the happy friend and such, but he was hiding a dark secret.

Military experience
We had all joined up at 17 and did our basic training together and eventually just being deployed together we were best friends. During this short stint in the military, I had learnt basic weapon handling skills and basic navigational and survival techniques. We were all having the time of our lives, but Rees was struggling mentally, and he had taken his own life just before his 21st birthday causing us all to resign from the military.

Outbreak
We had all taken a trip to Nyheim for Rees’ 21st birthday in September of 2021 to remember him and appreciate the life he led. During this trip the Outbreak began. Before the end of our trip, we were told to stay indoors due to a large increase in violent crime taking place and we had booked to stay here for a month so we all thought we would stay for the entire time and get our moneys worth as we had spent so much on this trip despite all recently quitting our jobs. This was the worst decision we could have ever made as it would lead to us being stuck here and separated in a country none of us had connections to.
