Alfred Fish is an American self-proclaimed professional wilderness guide. Born and raised in Michigan USA his demand for work resides in Russia were he lived and worked for 11 years. Tasked with leading a lifelong close friend of his named Roland through dense mountains during the peak of a harsh winter. Leaving for the journey with what they thought was sufficient food for the anticipated 14 days ahead of them. Before they knew it, provisions were exhausted due to the rough terrain and use of energy needed for the traverse. The winter was relentless and the two men were slow-moving, barely able to see in front of them, cursing the wind that was cutting at their exposed skin. With several days still ahead of them the trail had become snow-blind.They survived for days on roots dug from the ground and the occasional rabbit. After a few days of no wildlife activity due to the extreme cold and eating virtually nothing but roots, the two men started to eye each other in an unsettling way, their stomachs twisting in hunger. They were exhausted and had found a small abandoned cabin next to a large lake that was covered on one side by a large grove of trees. Deciding to hide from the storm they needed some rest. After several more days of starvation Alfred decides he couldnt take anymore so he lunges at Roland with a splitting hatchet. With extreme force he wildly swings the hatchet striking Roland between the eyes. Slowly slopes down to a sitting position with the realization of what just happened he comes to the conclusion of no choice but to dismember and eat his friend. No choice we left rite? Either he dies or they both die. Fish spends several more months traversing through northern Russian mountains picking off other survivors for the meat he desperately craved. Noticing each time certain parts of the body tasted better than others. Even savoring favorites like the brain. When the world went to shit he kept going north until he arrives in a new land called Nyheim.. He wants to start a new life for himself were people wont know what he is but can he fight the urges that claw inside him?
