Yako, (Yakoba von Conqueroern 1949-02-12) was born in Berlin 4 years after the second world war had ended. His mother was a german woman (Ingrid) and his father a Russian soldier (Maksim). Both of his parents died in a carcrash when he was 12 years old. Soon after, he ended up in an orphanage. In the orphanage Yako is bullied a lot by other orphans. The supervisors don't even look after him. After a stay of 5 years, Yako decides to escape and lives on the street. Life on the street is hard and shabby for Yako. Over time, Yako meets several peers who operate in the criminal circuit. He gets involved in this and loses 6 years of his life active as a criminal. His life turned around when he moved to America and became part of the hippy culture in San Francisco. After a wild life as a hippy he became a professional cameraman. Yako spend the rest of his life alone without maintaining any relationships. He moved around in America from place to place. Once he got in New York, he got invited to make a documentary about Nyheim. Together with a fellow documentary maker (Jack Schmidt), Yako got entwined with the Apocalypse. Unfortunately Jack Schmidt got killed by other humans. Yako is operating alone.
