Anthony Jacobs, AJ, grew up in Macon with an alcoholic, abusive mother, and no known father, no friends, and no siblings to pass the time with. Due to his neglectful childhood, he quickly became independent in most day-to-day experiences. At the age of 14, AJ started hunting the local wildlife, with a boy a similar age to him, known as Daniel, in the nearby forest just outside the city; learning to skin, cook and become dependent on what nature provides him with. What made Daniel stand out though, was his experience in flying amateur planes, the two boys would often travel to the nearby airspace outside Atlanta to learn how to fly small prop planes. This life continued for AJ for many years; and year by year he spent more and more time in nature. Unfortunately, Daniel had been forced to begin a new life in Atlanta following his expulsion from his high school and illegal activity he was involved in. After spending 2 years, alone, of hunting, foraging, and surviving in the forest, he constructed a hidden hideout located in a small cave at the side of a large, rocky hill a couple of miles away from Macon. After society started to collapse and AJ was left to fend for himself, he hastily collected his trusty rifle, his belongings and a couple of survival necessities before he headed away from the crumbling civilization and towards the great wilderness. Months went by and from the observations AJ made he was convinced that the world would never be the same again, with this mindset he travelled north to the airstrip near Atlanta. He knew that for his own sake of survival, leaving Georgia and the USA was one of his top priorities. Searching the hangers, he stumbled upon a tiny prop plane like the ones Daniel taught him to fly years back. AJ clambered into the cockpit and tried desperately to remember how to pilot the damn thing. With luck, he managed to get the plane into the sky, it was a bit complicated but he knew the basics and, knowing that he had a full tank of fuel, he aimed to fly to Russia to see if the world had crumbled there also. The flight was seemingly peaceful but all good things come to an end, which is the exact same mindset that the planes engine had. As AJ flew over Nyheim, Norway, spluttered and creaked AJ found himself rapidly descending. He tried and tried to get the engine running again but to no avail. As the plane plummeted, he pulled the yoke up as hard as he could hoping that the could soften the landing so much that he wouldn't immediately die. As the plane was about to crash into the ground, AJ closed his eyes and waiting for the inevitable, uncertain if he would open them again
