Oskar was born in Nyvoll in 2004, with his father having a military background and his mother working as a grocery clerk. He had a very basic education and tended to be a wallflower, trying not to talk too often for fear of being weird. Oskar had trouble making friends, and to cope, he picked up sports. One particular sport he picked up was powerlifting, which he excelled in. In 2018, Oskar started fishing as a method of income, which he learned to become very good at. When the outbreak swept Norway, Oskar stayed in contact with his father, who used his military experience to help the two survive. His mother made her way to safety on her own, though Oskar still doesn't know her whereabouts, Oskar and his father lived off the land, using abandoned cabins, fishing, and foraging to survive, navigating towards Nyheim, seeking safety, though Oskar lost his father in a camping incident, and didn't find him. For a while, he navigated the woods, and frequently got lost. After a while, he gave up trying to get to Nyheim, and now simply avoids contact and searches for food and shelter. Though he does wish to find his father again. This leaves him off now, navigating and searching the surrounding area for supplies and methods of survival.
